BCT AI/Books Literature Workshop – 2025

Bhavani Charitable Trust (BCT) is proud to announce the successful completion of its AI Workshop, held in July and August 2025. This workshop built upon last year’s initiative, where students created a digital catalog of the books available in the Temple. The workshop introduced students from various age groups to the fascinating intersection of Books and Artificial Intelligence. This hands-on event aimed to educate and inspire the next generation of innovators by teaching them the fundamentals of AI and its practical applications in the realm of literature.

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to create a personalized AI-powered tool (GyaanPath), guiding them on a journey of self-discovery through books. The tool helps users find books that align with their inner growth, spiritual curiosity, and reading preferences—tailored specifically to each individual.

The workshop featured a diverse group of participants, ranging from young learners to adults. The interactive lessons were designed to simplify complex AI concepts, database design, and user interface development, making these topics accessible to all.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

·        AI Fundamentals: Students were introduced to core AI technologies and their real-world applications.

·        Interactive Learning: Participants engaged in activities where they created descriptions and metadata of more than 400 books,  designed databases and user interfaces.

·        Project Presentations: Students collaborated on their projects and presented their final creations.

·        Certificates: Active participation  certificates were provided to the students.

·        Diverse Participation: The workshop attracted students of varying ages, fostering collaboration across generations.

This workshop is part of cultural activities of BCT’s ongoing efforts to promote both technology and cultural literacy, while providing equal educational opportunities for all members of the community. By fostering a deeper understanding of AI, the cultural division of BCT is empowering students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and prepare for the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

“We are thrilled to have had such a diverse and engaged group of students in our AI workshop,” said Santosh Katiyar, President of Bhavani Charitable Trust. “AI is not just a buzzword—it’s shaping our future, and it’s crucial that the next generation understands its potential. Through initiatives like this workshop, we aim to make technology more accessible while also inspiring students to embrace AI’s possibilities in Literature along with its cultural relevance.”

BCT extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants and volunteers who helped make this event a success. In line with its commitment to fostering innovation, BCT plans to host additional workshops and educational programs to ensure students continue to develop the skills necessary for tomorrow’s digital economy.
